   A Late Blooming Author. You're probably wondering why the title. Since I was in the fourth grade, I wanted to be a published author. My teacher discouraged me as she explained that authors don't make much money. I listened to her and found a rewarding career working for the United States government.

   I want people to know that it's never too late to achieve your dreams. Learn how I wrote my first book at 60, after I retired. Don't let anything or anyone stop you!
